October is the Month traditionally dedicated to the Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary. During this past October, members of the 9th and 10th grades of St. Maria Goretti's School of Religion learned about the devotion of the Rosary with its 20 mysteries and how to pray it. They also made their own Rosaries which they are proudly displaying and which Fr. Cyril blessed. Each student chose his/her colored beads and learned that the Rosary includes 53 recitations of the Hail Mary and 6 of the Our Father for a total of 59 beads.
